There's a lull, but Tottenham up and running

The streets of Tottenham look busier than they did in the weeks following a riot. The burned post office has been replaced, as have most of the broken windows.

But it's still not quite the Tottenham it once was says, local shop owner Bulent  Huseyin.

"Theres' a lull in the system," he said. "Everything was topsy-turvey for a while."

That said, he's more optimistic than he was about the neighborhood's situation just a few months ago.

"I reckon by March, April or May we might be able to turn it around," he said. "Now things are up and running - it gives you a little more confidence."
